If you have played videogames some 25 years back, chances are high that you’ve probably at least heard of Crazy Taxi. The game was published by Sega in 1999 for arcades and a year later for the dreamcast, with ps2 and pc ports also coming later. Eventually there were also Crazy Taxi 2 and 3 (and a gameboy advance spinoff) released for various platforms, and the first game is playable on phones as well.

You’ll choose one of 4 different characters and try to make as much money as possible within the time limit. You either select a limit in advance or play be the arcade rules.

Extra money is awarded for stunts, such as air time and barely avoiding car crashes. Being fast also gives you more money. Of course there’s also music, which fits the game insanely well.
Crazy Taxi Classic is free with ads, or you can buy ads removal for 2€. You can only play offline when you buy the ad removal.
